Darryll Fish Wins the Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship
American pro Darryll Fish becomes the winner of the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship. The tournament series was held in the legendary Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood. The event with a buy-in of $3,500 was attended by 911 people, 114 of whom shared the total prize fund of $2,915,200.
The American competed for the champion trophy of the prestigious event and the main prize exceeding half a million dollars with the representative of the Russian poker community Alexandr Shevelev.
At the beginning of the heads-up the Russian had some advantage in the stack – 15,875,000 chips versus 11,440,000 of Darryll. Over the course of four hours, the latter managed to quickly intercept the chip lead, and then send his counterpart to an honorable second place. The final hand of the tournament, in which the participants went all-in, was as follows:
