Alex Foxen Wins $25,000 High Roller
Young American pro William Alex Foxen has become the owner of the main payment of $25,000 L.A. Poker Classic Rockstar Energy High Roller being held in the City of Flowers. The L. A. event brought together 50 opponents at its tables. There high-profile poker names owners were expected to take part and compete for the main prize. So, among others, Foxen was confronted by Nick Petrangelo, with whom he met in the final heads-up.
The final, which lasted several hours, was rather favorable for Foxen: the player took one big pot after another leaving his opponents behind. At the heads-up beginning Alex had a 7-fold advantage in chips which quickly turned into victory.
The tournament’s total prizes in the amount of $1,250,000 were eventually divided among six players:
Alex Foxen was born in Cold Spring Harbour in 1991. Now he lives in New York and has been in prizes 33 times. Accordingly, to date, his total prize in live tournaments is $2,677,585. The player is considered to be a rising star in the poker community.
